The furthest house up the hill has a new family moving in and arriving for the first time.
JASON, English 9 year old moved to new school in the area.
MICHAEL
I liked the old house.
FADE TO:

EXT. HOUSE – DAY
Car driving up the drive towards the new house.
SARAH, Single mother of 2, recently widowed.
SARAH
I’m sure I will be fine.
FADE TO:
EXT. HOUSE – DAY
The family step out the car and move towards the front door.
FADE TO:
INT. HOUSE – DAY
The family approach the front door.
FRANCIS, Stereotypical teenage girl stuck to her phone, grumpy most the time and likes to argue.
FRANCIS
At least it’s huge.
FADE TO:
INT. HOUSE – DAY
Family walks straight into the kitchen to explore the new house.
SARAH
Pick a room.
FADE TO:

Family is stood in kitchen of the new house. JASON runs through to the upstairs and FRANCIS walks through.
SARAH
Off to school.

Room with loft hatch showing mystery of what could be in the attic. Ladder falls and SARAH steps up into the attic. The stepping sound continuing as a rhythm throughout trailer.

Door slams on SARAH and she stumbles back.

Paranormal researcher struggling to get back in the house.
